I had a music teacher who expressed fondness for John 4:33, as a sly John Cage reference which happens to be an utterly inane verse. I nominate Jeremiah 49:24, strangely evocative and alluring for a prophecy of heathens like me being smote.

It was only a matter of time before someone with the perpetual mind of an adolescent boy posted this. I wish I could call myself surprised.

The correct answer is Song of Songs.

John Dunstable's setting of Song of Songs 7 is one of the most perfectly-crafted pieces of music that I know of, both gorgeous and quite cheeky. I wrote a movement of a string quartet based on it (in heavily abstracted and dissonant form) a while back.
