Wanting all missing people to get the same amount of media coverage regardless of race, gender and class =\= misogyny but nice try.

It's not misogyny but it's completely impractical. If you give multiple segments over several days to every missing person, even if you limit it to those cases with no leads, then that's all the would ever be on the news and you still wouldn't get everyone. But if you give a case less coverage than that, it will be useless in terms of actually finding the missing person. And no one would pay attention when they're getting bombarded with dozens of new cases every week. It's either some or none. You could make it more racially representative but there's still the issue of why these few missing people and not all these other missing people, when they all deserve the same coverage.
