But from another, more sinister place, this is how Republicans' delusions build and spread. One day it's MTG spouting off, three months later it's on Fox News, and three months after that Republican Reps are screaming about it on the Capitol.  And when a voter who doesn't really follow politics googles "Democrats taking money from Al Qaeda" a year from now, they find a whole host of articles, some of them from ostensibly credible sources, talking about it. And that effects how they vote.
