Opinion of Opinions

THis website seems to have a lot to say about opinion of posters, candidates, voting histories, parties, hot dogs, etc.  But let's get down to the ultimate question, the question that should ultimately give us insight into how the great assembled masses of this website think.  In order to have an opinion about something one must first do some level of thinking, whether that's half a second or two years, to come to a judgment on a particular issue, person, thing, etc. .

So my question today is the most basic question of all.  Is it good that people have opinions?  Do people deserve opinions?  Is the world better off that people have opinions?  Or are opinions what makes human beings truly evil in a way that even the most vicious lion in the Savannah is incapable of?

it's good that people have opinions and they should be willing to share them, but they should also be willing to change them or at least not get all pissy when someone has a different opinion.
