Since the election is tomorrow, I might as well start this.

Tory GAIN South Shore-St. Margaret's, in Nova Scotia. First flip of the night. Polls have closed in Quebec.

EDIT: With 70% in, Tory lead is growing in Coast of Bays. Upset?

Odd candidate I noticed: former NDP MP Francois Lapointe is the Liberal candidate in Montmagny-L'Islet-Kamouraska-Riviere-du-Loup. (He's also currently leading Conservative incumbent Bernard Genereux, but that's with under *50* votes counted).
Another former Quebec NDP MP, Denis Blanchette is actually running for the Greens in Louis-Hébert.

What is with the bizarre results in Gatineau where the Green candidate was leading briefly and now the Liberal is leading with the Green in second and the Free Party doing well so far for some reason?

Annamie Paul is in fourth. I doubt she will be leader after the election.

What the hell do Canadians see in this guy? He's so fake and smarmy.

IMO it's a good thing that the Canadian people are looking beyond Trudeau's horrible personality and voting to re-elect the Liberals based on their "solid and progressive record"

Conservatives should point out that they have won the popular vote twice in a row.

It does just as good as the Democrats winning the PV in 2000 and 2016.

Yes, Democrats always point out that they won the popular vote, conservatives do not.
You do realize that a Presidential election isn't the same as a Parliamentary election.

It's so interesting how there was so much punditry for Newsom and Trudeau about how COVID backlash would hurt them and they were in for the "race of their life" at some point during all of this and then both.... actually did slightly better than their last election (Libs look to gain +3 seats right now).

It's almost as if pundits are completely out of touch with what is actually happening on the ground.
You do realize that Trudeau is still at a minority. He wanted a majority and the Tories actually won the popular vote. This isn't a win for anyone and gaining 3 seats means that barely anything change. This and Newsom's landslide is completely different.
