Liberals are back in the lead in every riding on Newfoundland except for St. John's East.

It's worth recalling here that Newfoundland is a place apart; it is not a Maritime province and results in Newfoundland are not necessarily generalizable even to the Maritimes, let alone to the rest of the country.

And this wasn't going to be the most fertile ground for them.

St. John's South is the first projected seat, for the Liberals of course.

Would help if they had candidates.

Was it though? New Brunswick has provincial PPC-aligned legislators, and some of their best polls had them crossing 10% here. Others upthread were noting the mainland Atlantic area is demographically similar to south Ontario.

I am talking about places where they are running candidates.  They all seem to be around 1%

We've got hardly any votes out of New Brunswick yet.

CBC is interviewing someone named Karen right now who is like the nicest version of the Karen stereotype imaginable. Middle age woman with short hair and a big Liberal pin. Per Karen, Trudeau has been "so good on the COVID."

Bonavista-Burin-Trinity in Newfoundland looks to be the most interesting one so far.

I'd say Coast of Bays is more for me since it is more unexpected.

Just as a note: If Conservatives take 8 or more in Atlantic Canada, I think they are in play. 10 or more and I think they are on track to win the night.

Dartmouth Cole Harbor starts as a NDP lead! PPC on 12% there, so spot the partisan Torys.
