Easily Lyndon Johnson, due to his role in the Vietnam War.

Carter.

Squandered whatever goodwill he had in the 1976 election; 1976 could have been a turning point in America

Carter. A missed opportunity for the Democratic party that the Democrats still, after over 40 years, haven't fully recovered from, and it pains me to say that because I like and admire Carter on a personal level and admire all the humanitarian work he's done since leaving office.

Clintons cost D's 5 Judges on SCOTUS HAD THERE BEEN NO IMPEACHMENT OR IF GORE WAS THE INCUMBENT AND WON AGAINST BUSH W AFTER IMPEACHMENT, THAT WOULD HAVE STOPPED DEFECTION TO NADAR

HILLARY BENGHAZI DEBACLE COST US 3 JUDGES

TOGETHER THEY COST US MAJORITY OF SCOTUS, HISTORY 50 YRS FROM NOW WILL ENSCRIBE THAT IN BOTH OF THEIR OBITUARIES

Toss-up between Clinton and Obama for the neoliberal era, but Kennedy & Truman were the worst during the New Deal coalition

Jimmy Carter obviously, he just wasn't good at being President and this led to the Reagan era.

You know if there wasn't any impeachment or if Gore was the incumbent, after Clinton resignation, we would have a Majority on SCOTUS, Carter didn't have 1 pick

Alito, Roberts would not be Judges

Probably Truman for cementing interventionalist and internationalism after Wilson (who's not on the list) made it "fashionable". LBJ receives an honorable mention for Vietnam, although he's still better than W. Bush in that regard. Also Bill Clinton for NAFTA, even though it was a GOP idea since the days of Reagan and he was doing what he could to win over Reagan Democrats; so I'm not certain he deserves all the blame I'm giving him. Biden's turning out to be a real disappointment and could surpass all of them depending on what he decides to do, but he could also reverse course. I know FDR's was dismal until The New Deal was passed, so we'll have to see.

Jimmy Carter is a very, very good man but was just not an effective President.
