If 9/11 never happened, does the W Admin still invade Iraq? I mean, they still could have made up false accusations over WMDs. The neocons always felt Bush 41 didn't complete the job during the 1st Gulf War in 1991.

I say no--I don't think there'd be nearly the public support for it that there was with 9/11 happening.

I say no--I don't think there'd be nearly the public support for it that there was with 9/11 happening. 

Even with 9/11, invading Iraq was controversial, just not enough to stop it. Without the rally round the flag effect of 9/11, there's no way Bush gets the necessary support even if he tries.
