What a man Mike thought as he watched the newly sworn-in President walk up to the podium set to deliver his inaugural address. Donald Trump was a political genius, managing to overcome the Clinton's, who Mike could sense the lasers in the back of his head, and the GOP establishment that was hell-bent on destroying him, Mike knew it was a good idea he didn't run in 2016, because now he's just one step closer to the Presidency through the back door.

He doesn't expect him to last too long as President, hell we'll be lucky if he makes it 5 minutes. With all but certain investigations and the Democrats salivating at the mouth to get him impeached, Mike is confident he wouldn't be able to handle the pressure, and bam. President Michael R. Pence. He can already hear Hail to the Chief again and the 21 gun salu-

Pop, Pop, Pop

In an instant Mike is hoisted up out of his chair and thrown on the ground, he notices the scramble in front of him, the screams of the crowd and everyone on the platform. What is going on?! Then he sees his new boss slump down on the ground in front of him, his eyes dazed only catching to look at Mike to utter.
"Mike.. what the hell did they do to me?"
The Vice President lets out a yell beyond comprehension as he notices the blood pooling around the President's back, he notices the Clinton's on the ground across from him, Secret Service agents planted firmly on their backs and notices a scuffle of multiple Secret Service agents, suddenly he's hoisted up off his feet and shoved to the exit.

"Where's Karen? Where're my Kids?" Mike utters dazed, he doesn't know how he got here but suddenly sitting in a bunker under the Capitol with the Obama's, Biden's, Bush's, Clintons and the Congressional leadership all with stoic faces.

"Yeah... Jesus... okay" Mike hears a Secret Service agent mutter into his headpiece. "Sir, Mogul is down, shot by a rogue agent, you are now the President of the United States". Mike goes silent as reality hits him. A voice in the back of his head tells him to be careful what he wishes for.

Also, & this is wholly unimportant, but would Mike Pence ever dare to take Jesus' name in vain like that?
