I'm usually a doomer about everything, but this team made a believer out of me early in Game 4 vs. Carolina. Then I knew we had overgrown our prior limitations. I haven't had so much belief in any team I follow in years. And there is no Jonathan Quick awaiting us this time to completely shut down our ability to score.

Gallant will be fired.

The series was two dominant games, two evenly matched games that probably should've been wins (at least Game 3 / Game 5 wasn't that pretty) and two performances that look like a youth league team aside from Shesterkin.

I'm fine with using tired legs as an excuse, but when you aren't throwing your top draft pick and face of the fun rebuild out there (and instead choose a nobody), you're not even trying.

e: Congrats to Tampa Bay, well-earned dynasty. By far the more complete team once they got into rhythym
