An anti-populist or a moderate from the WV panhandle who normally votes Republican but was turned off by Trump's rhetoric and stances on immigration/trade.

This is exactly what I was thinking. Trump's basically a billionaire and Justice is the richest person in WV. They probably resent the wealth of Trump and Justice and thus voted for Clinton and Cole.

A massively more interesting voter is a Clinton-Morrisey voter. That would be extremely hard to explain. Maybe someone who voted for Clinton because of the reason in the previous paragraph, but eventually came around to Trump and voted for Morrisey. Or a feminist Republican. Or someone who cast a protest vote for Morrisey because of how conservative Manchin is.

A clinton-morrisey could be a moderate Republican who thought Trump didn’t have enough expierience and would hurt the party down ballot badly in the long term and though Hillary would be moderate enough to handle, and remained a standard Republican after Trump won.
