Virginia Special (2017): George Allen defeats Bobby Scott.

2018:

Republicans gain Indiana, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Minnesota (Special), Missouri, Montana, New Jersey, New Mexico, North Dakota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Wisconsin.

Democrats gain nothing.

Republican get close to 350 seats in the House as well.

I also imagine that Georgia isn’t close.

Are the house numbers a snark?  I think the Republican ceiling is the 247/248 seats they won in 2014.

Not really. Hillary inspires base turnout for Republicans the way few can. You are underestimating how much the Republican base hates her.

Just imagine how easy it’d be to run against her.

If Clinton had won, Menendez would have been successfully primaried in New Jersey. The NJ Democratic party only let him run because they figured he would win in a Trump midterm.

Rush Holt, Frank Pallone or even somebody like Gottheimer would have run and beat him, and won the general election.

Who do you mean? Because I know full well about Menendez's scandals in the Dominican Republic, but are you talking about one of the other 3 Reps?
