Unique mavericks who had a strong following but were generally unpopular at the time face off against one another. No third parties. Who wins?

Kucinich, whatever popular appeal Buchanan might have had on his own vanishes by being on the bottom of the ticket with a guy who wants to end social security and Gravel is popular enough in his home state to flip it. It'd be something like this:

Kucinich-Gravel 312
Paul-Buchanan 226

Kucinich stole a lot of Paul's thunder

Kucinich/Gravel: 320 E.V.
Paul/Buchanan: 218 E.V.

Had Kucinich not been on the ticket, I'd predict IA, IN, WV & OH would've flipped at the least with the possibility of MO & FL, while Paul not being on the ticket would've flipped NH and Buchanan not being on the ticket (with Paul as the nominee) would've flipped OR, WA, NV, NM, CO & VA (Because of native-son).
