In terms of number of roles served. Jackson was:

A two star general in the War of 1812
U.S. Senator representing Tennessee
Representative for Tennessee's At-large Congressional District
Governor of Florida
Justice of the Tennessee Supreme Court

Are there any other presidents who had such a diverse collection of major job titles held before becoming president?

He may not have a more diverse resume before taking office, but Joe Biden is the most experienced president. Served in local government, then 36 years as senator including as chair of Judiciary and Foreign Relations Committees, and then for two terms as active vice president.

Otherwise, Poppy Bush had broad experience: Congressman, UN Ambassador, RNC Chair, unofficial ambassador to China, CIA Director and then vice president. Was also in the military for active duty.

James Garfield would be my vote for most qualified actually, not necessarily the same. Civil War General, Congress, Professor, Minister IIRC and was known be very knowledgeable of the issues of the day.

The country really missed out by losing him to an assassin.

There was no conceptualization of being a Dixiecrat in 1828, he was just a Democrat being its first President and he defined what the party was going to be for the next 100 years plus. Opposed to the financial, industrial and Wall Street elite, pro-immigrant and yes unfortunately, racist as all hell. Though I am not sure you would have had much better luck with some of his opponents, like say John C Calhoun who he threatened to hang over the nullification crisis.

20 years later and after his death, his wing man would be leading the Free Soil Party along with many other Jacksonian Democrats in the Northern states. Backwards projection of historical conceptualization will always lead to problems.

A lot of the pre-Civil War presidents (especially pre-1845) had very impressive resumes, but Monroe is my go-to for this question:

Secretary of State
Secretary of War
Governor of Virginia
U.S. Senator
Ambassador to Britain
Ambassador to France
Member of the Confederate Congress
Revolutionary War colonel

Biden is notable for having the longest pre-presidential public career, but H.W. Bush, Buchanan and Monroe are all "more experienced" under my subjective interpretation.

Jackson's career in Congress was pretty short, only a cumulative 1,438 days that occurred in three, non-consecutive stints.

Depends on how you measure "experienced". Number of kinds of offices held, political career in years etc. I agree on Jackson, Monroe, HW Bush and Biden being most experienced. James Buchanan, Andrew Johnson, Lyndon B. Johnson and Richard Nixon had decades of experience in critical positions, too.

Talking about experience on a broader term, it's kind of hilarious Lincoln was one of the least experienced presidents. Only single term in the House and a few years in the IL legislature. Even Obama - the prez with the same homestate - had more experience in public office under his belt.
