OK, I've voted.

Sorry Gus; I literally made my mind up about 3 minutes before voting. I also voted for a combined tcket, wich would have been great-Nym/Gus (or Gus/Nym) would make an excellent administration Smiley

It's OK...*runs off crying*

I am sure you had good reasons for your vote...of course, if it throws the election to Nym I won't be this good-spirited about it... Cheesy Wink

well thats why i wrote in my first preference; so that it wouldn't be counted for any 'most first preferences' vote.

There were three reasosns why I voted for Nym-1. He answered my questions well; 2. He is the incumbent, and has done a reasonable job and 3. he was losing. I wanted itto be a bit closer Smiley

Heh...the 3rd reason was one of the reasons why I voted for him in the last election... Tongue Wink

I also tried to answer your questions, though I think I was a bit late in doing so...but I don't mind, you don't have to explain your vote to me. Smiley

Would people please stop congratulating me! Angry I don't wanna bea Dewey! Sad Wink

Anyway, me, the forum moderator, has removed 2 more posts from the voting booth, 1 was a vote from Tim Roman, who has only made 5 posts and was inelligible and the other from Wildcard, saying just that. I am also somewhat concerned about the posts of Hughento and Demrepdan. I for one would really prefer if people did not post explanations of their votes in the actual thread. It might in these cases, discriminate against StevenNick, for instance. At the very least, it would be preferable if Dan edited his vote post comments rather than making another, non-voting, post. I think his vote would not be rendered invalid, since we passed 3 others who did edit their actual votes to some extent.

I don't even undertand it.  Two Republican votes and a reverse UAC one?

Oh "people" like him LOVE the UL.  They don't like those of us who think for ourselves... they'd prefer for people to be "on one side or the other".

I cut and pasted the 3 tickets from the first post and I accidently posted the republican ticket twice. So I went back and  changed my 2nd republican ballot to the democrat one. As for the reversring the UAC order, I am well within my rights to write in other members names who have met certain criteria. Rather than waste my vote, I just switched the names around.

I assumed as much. That means your vote will go to Nym90/Al in the run-off.

Totals now:

33-27.

Justin prefered nym over me? The ultra-conservative Democrat-friendly wing of the Republican party seems to be growing... Tongue
