It's absolutely mind-boggling that Democrats have a net positive opinion of tech companies and the general public has a net positive opinion of banks. Where the hell did that early-2010s Tea Party and Occupy Wall Street energy dissipate to? So much for the new #populist alignment.

On the other hand, the fact that more Republicans now think unions have a positive impact on the country than think large corporations do is heartening. It could be taken to mean that Trump did have at least some good influence on the way his supporters see how this country works--albeit in spite of himself and for the wrong reasons.
