Senator-elect Mandel, everyone!

There will be nothing interesting about this race. So instead here is an interesting question: how many times have there been both of a state's Senators who were once rivals like we'll have with Brown and Mandel? Another recent example is McSally and Sinema. But what are some others?

John Hoeven and Heidi Heitkamp ran against each other in ND-GOV 2000. Obviously Heitkamp isn't a Senator anymore, but it's the first example that came to mind.

Absolutely foolish to think Mandel is by any means the likely nominee. He leads by 9 with only 21% and 48% undecided lmao.

What, he was the 2012 nominee and he is a Veteran, but Ryan is a very good opponent, he along with Brown and Manchin never lost a GE before

Vance is a book author and has never been won a Political race before

Cross tabs on this look like a pretty weak poll. DMA's are whacked, especially for a primary

John Barrasso was the runner up in Mike Enzi’s first senate primary.

The garbage New Jersey gubernatorial election poll that this firm released today is now making me reconsider my initial post in this thread.

Mandel seems to be frontrunner but Vance still has a chance. Albeit a not very huge one - he's dumb.

Ron Wyden and Gordon Smith. But they actually had a great working relationship.

Bernie and Leahy probably set some sort of record for running against each other 47 years ago.

One example from early this century was Johnson and Thune.

Why don't we take a look again at the "garbage" poll that was 1 point too Republican and it's responses again.
