The people who opposed the Iran Deal and supported assassinating Solemeini are the same people who supported the Iraq War and the argumements used against the Iran Deal and for assassinating Solemeini are the same arguements that were used for the Iraq War.

Not even remotely close. Trump never invaded Iran, which is something crazy to ignore here. Had Bush only assassinated a major general in Iraq during his time in office, things would be very different there today.
