It makes no sense for them to wear masks if the mask doesn't cover their nose.

Good way to comply in environments where masks are socially mandated but not legally required or beneficial to your health; i.e. vaccinated people in blue state stores where masks are "strongly recommended." It does not effectively block out the virus (who care tbh) but it does prevent confrontations in the Trader Joe, which is its primary function these days.

Fair point although I still see some of these non nose maskers in areas that are only like 20-30% masked.
