What would the electoral map have been like if McCain picked Lieberman as his running mate?

kwabbit:
Obama wins MO, Alaska is close, but that's the only major difference. That would've been a very interesting ticket in a more neutral environment, but in the conditions of 2008 it would've been an Obama landslide regardless. Pre-financial crash I bet the Northeast and the South would've been relatively closer.

Redban:
Pro-choice Lieberman as running mate would cost McCain some votes in red states, like aforementioned Missouri. I don't think the Republicans would have gained anything electorally with Lieberman. Maybe they perform a little better in the popular vote?

McCain has said that he regrets not picking Lieberman. I feel his regret is more about his wish to have had a Republican / Democrat on one ticket; and he was also close friends with Lieberman personally

hjii:
McCain wins New Hampshire Obama wins Missouri South Dakota and Montana

America Needs a 13-6 Progressive SCOTUS:
Probably a bigger Dem win by quite a bit due to heavily increased 3rd party voting/staying home from Conservatives.
