A sudden surplus of polls out of Ohio at the moment.  I still can't quite see how Brown can win but if the GOP situation in the Buckeye State is so terrible I suppose he can; his lead has definitely been corroborated by several polls now.  This is about the margin I predict him to win by.

I think that with the Univ of Cincy poll coming out I think Brown should win, they predicted 30 statewide offices since 1994.

brown should win, but not just because the Unv of Cinci poll has him in front, having 9 polls in a row showing him ahead shows it more than just what one poll does.

No, that just says that, if the election were held today, Brown would likely win.  Come Novemeber, who knows?

That is exactly what I have been telling him. And 3 polls has it within the margin of error QU, Gallup, and U of Cincy.

With how bad the situation in Ohio is, I find it real hard for the GOP to turn it around.

The point I was simply making was regarding an argument I had with Quincy.  Quincy was waiting for the Univ of Cincy poll to see how things are looking before making a real decision.  I just think taking all the polls into consideration is a better way to judge how things look than just one poll.  For example if 8 polls show the race with one person ahead, and one show the other person ahead, chances are likley than the ones with the 8 polls ahead are more than likley closer to the actual outcome.

Obviously their is   to predicting races than just looking at the polls, but I was just trying to make the poiint when taking polls into consideration its better to take all the polls into consideration, than just putting everything into one particualr poll or pollster which is something Okalawandi seems to do.

The U.S. Senate will be a better place with Sherrod Brown in it.

Again, I had Brown winning and you missed that, and I was willing to wait until the Univ of Cincinnati poll to average it with the other polls. But agai8n 3 polls have it within the margin of error so it isn't over with.

Meh. DeWine's exit will be more of a positive than Brown's entrance.

I noticed that, when he appeared on MSNBC on the show after Labor day. It's funny to me.

Yeah when he speaks in front of large crowd he has a pleasing sounding voice but when is doing a one on one interview or greeting people one on one he sounds kind of like Mumbles from Dick Tracey.

Oh Christ. Why is American political talk so focused on shallow bullshit like a candidate's "voice"? Why don't we take a look at some real issues? The Nation has a great article about Brown up- read that.

I'm looking forward to seeing him in the Senate.

As am I. I strongly support his election bid. I know where he stands on the issuses and I think he is a fantastic candidate. I stand by the voice thing being strange though, not that I really care about it. I just find it amusing that when hes on stage hes Bruce Wayne and when he steps off it hes Batman.
