Interesting thread. Waters, Ocasio-Cortez, Bush and others are vocally angry at senior Dems.
As I understand it they are adjourned through August now.

It seems a majority of the house did not want to extend it.
Not sure what earlier notification does.

Also did seriously no staffer warn congress of what Kavanaugh said?
Biden literally said it would be the last extension by him because Kavanaugh refused to push  it any further.

Its time for servers to go back to work. Servers and teachers are the most entitled people in this country. The two jobs that refuse to go back to work.

Pelosi even said there's "no time to build a consensus."
Earlier notification would theoretically give them time for a compromise.

They should extend the ban to Jun. 2022, why Dec. 31, when it will be cold and rainy?

People like Manchin, Sinema, Golden give Cori Bush and AOC energy and then they complain....

This is a disaster. Now we'll be experiencing a spike in homelessness as well as Covid-19 cases.

Why was this a last minute effort? We all knew when the moratorium would expire.

And a spike in crime as well.......

Can Biden sign an EO?

No the court ruling is that it can't be extended again save an act of Congress.

Should Biden force Pelosi to come back, right away?

We've had the level of automation needed to make employment literally 100% optional for a few generations. There's no reason that there should be social/economic punishments for not wanting to bother with full-time employment. After all, humanity is an apex predator, not an eusocial insect like bees/ants.

Pelosi needed to go home to San Francisco and walk by some homeless and spend time by her huge fridges.

Her office is already near Downtown that's why we can ride the buses for free all night long because there are huge pockets of homelessness in Downtown

I have lived in SF, but, but, but the D's and Rs give Section 8 vouchers to Asians and Latinos due to Dreamers over Afro Americans

I admit I'm not very sympathetic to the teachers unions who oppose mandatory vaccinations for themselves while seeming to oppose reopening at every turn.

Most male humans need a certain amount of manual labor for proper psychological health.

Bush seems to be the most adamant on extending it. She seems to want to extend not because of the pandemic but because she views evictions as unjust.

But what of the noble shoplifter, the carjacker, and the burglar? When shall we legalize their crimes too? #TheftIsAHumanRight

As a yellow avatar, you should be well aware that the biggest thief in the United States is called the Internal Revenue Service. Thieves covering for thieves should not be a surprise Tongue

I feel bad for these people but look whom are driving negotiations for Stimulus relief Manchin and Sinema, they won't debate a fourth Stimulus check and Press asked about it thanks Biden and Biden said he would sign another one

The Senate can act on the fourth Stimulus, Unemployment extension and Eviction momentum, but they let the House adjourn, that's why it Ds don't get wave insurance seats to help them win in 2024 Manchin is Done and Sinema will be primaried

Congress doesn't have to wait til Unemployment expires to debate extending it. Congress just want their vacation
