The Liberal Democrats will be running 2019 nominee, former councilor Andrew Cregan for Poplar and Limehouse.

The campaign will be an appeal to base support, and center on how the Liberal Democrats have kept their promises from the campaign. We will take the credit for revoking article and securing a second referendum as our part of the coalition in an attempt to excite our core voters. As our candidate is a former Labourite, we will also be making an appeal to disaffected Labour voters as to how we can bring fresh ideas and solutions into the Labour coalition. We will seek not to attack Labour directly as our partners in government and take that front to the Tories, for whom we will criticize for not accepting the reality of their loss by claiming Brexit still has a strong mandate.
