I lashed out at HW. I don't blame him for his vote. And I'm not gonna try to win it back. What I said was heated, yes, but what else was I going to conclude based on his virulent religious intolerance? So I'll apologize for the tone but no I'm not gonna apologize for concluding that Henry Wallace clearly has very ingrained biases and prejudices that make him as blind as your standard evangelical right wing Republican.
Pointing out his "pathetic protestant sense of superiority" was also quite out of line. I know many protestants who show a way higher level of humility and understanding about people different from them. Being a protestant doesn't make anyone a bad person. Being a Catholic doesn't make anyone a bad person. Being a Muslim doesn't either. What makes someone bad in my opinion is being a jerk. And I'm sorry but HW kind of sounds like a jerk in a lot of his posts. A highly educated and statistics obsessed jerk, but a jerk still.
I'm sorry if you don't like that bro. It's just the truth.
