Elzey is focusing on getting a big turnout in the southern counties while Wright is focusing on turning out Tarrant County republicans. I simply wouldn't vote. I refuse to vote for a Republican.

If I lived there, I'd vote for Wright.

I think Ellzey has more staying power than she does. He's a lot younger, a veteran, and has a more impressive resume than she does. He could end up becoming another Crenshaw if he wins, and become unbeatable.

Wright on the other hand probably only has a couple of terms in her before she gets beaten or just retires. At that point, maybe the seat can flip (depending on what redistricting looks like).
