Decision Desk had a good write-up about the race neither candidate is trying to win the democrat vote. Elzey is focusing on getting a big turnout in the southern counties while Wright is focusing on turning out Tarrant County republicans. Of the Democrats who vote in the runoff who do yall think they'd back and who would you vote for?

I simply wouldn't vote. I refuse to vote for a Republican.

If I lived there, I'd vote for Wright.

I think Ellzey has more staying power than she does. He's a lot younger, a veteran, and has a more impressive resume than she does. He could end up becoming another Crenshaw if he wins, and become unbeatable.

Wright on the other hand probably only has a couple of terms in her before she gets beaten or just retires. At that point, maybe the seat can flip (depending on what redistricting looks like).
