Kentucky is literally better than they have been in generations.

I do not even know what to do at this point! Do I gloat? Do I jerk off? Do I mock lesser SEC programs?

It's an entirely new sensation and I don't really even know how to process it!

A quote from ESPN's summary of the weekend:

Quote
And now, we're living in a world where Jim Harbaugh is undefeated, Florida State has a winning streak and UMass has won a game more recently than Nick Saban. What a time to be alive.

Wow. In all my years of doing this pick'em, I have never won a week.

It's an amazing feeling.

Here's hoping this continues on to the rest of the season.

538's playoff predictor now has the following chances of making the playoff:

Georgia 72%
Oklahoma 49%
Iowa 38%
Alabama 38%
Ohio State 28%
Cincinnati 26%
Michigan 22%
Oregon 14%
Michigan State 12%
Arizona State 11%

Everyone else is under 10%.

Using the what-if boxes, the first five plus the Michigans and Kentucky (currently at 9%) are locks if they win out.  Oregon, Arizona State, and Cincinnati are at 87%, 85%, and 62% if they win out.  (Obviously some of these are mutually exclusive, as two teams from the same conference can't both win out.)

UMass won its first game against UConn. Will next week’s UMass game against Florida State on ACCN be bumped to ACCNX?

A wild one in Baton Rouge, with LSU and Florida tied at 42 with 6 minutes left.  Meanwhile, it looks like UConn may actually win a game; they lead Yale 21-9 in the fourth quarter.

Ahahahahaha Texas will never be back.

Refs gave them the rub on a few plays early (the missed DPI in the endzone on 3rd down which led to their FG) but no excuse for them not having an answer for Warren in the 2nd half.

Texas wants to move to a conference that only plays 3-quarter games.

The fact that UConn upset Yale is almost impossible to fathom.  I wonder when the last time an Ivy League school was favored against a program in the top level of CFB (FBS/1-A/Division 1 pre-split) was.

I think the answer is never, at least since the Ivy went non-scholarship, just because Ivy vs FBS games are so rare. Today's game was the first Ivy vs FBS game since Yale beat Army in 2014. Penn also beat Navy in '86 and Harvard beat Army in '83, but I can't find a line for either; they only seem to schedule the service academies.

Upset alert: Purdue leads #2 Iowa 24-7 with 12 minutes left.  (Coincidentally, Georgia leads Kentucky by the same score at the end of the 3rd quarter, having just blocked a FG attempt.)
