Longer term economic importance depends on how much it has screwed up the kids and young adults.

I'm sure they'll be resilient.  You can survive tough situations, you can't survive dying from Covid.

As to the economic impact, obviously there are ongoing worldwide problems, but for the most part for the U.S economy, that really depends on the Covidiots and how long the rest of America is willing to put up with their stupidity.
