After months of being ignored, Rhode Island has suddenly had an influx of polling.  The results all show leads for Whitehouse: + 8, + 1 and + 5 I think.  Rhode Islanders are clearly coming home in that they are showing traditional loyalty to the Democratic candidate.  Whitehouse to win, I just can't say by how much.  At worst 52%-47%, at best 54%-45% or somewhere around these numbers.  I can't see Whitehouse going above 55% of the vote or Chafee going under 44% bar anything unexpected.

A pretty reasonable prediction (although I wouldn't count Chafee out completely yet).
