Betsy Johnson can really win this race I am not concerned about this race since she is in  otherwise we would be at risk losing this seat

I’ll be honest, I’m actually certain the only reason that Johnson is in the race is to act as a spoiler. Nike clearly wants something out of the money they are pouring into this race, and I doubt they want the Democrats to do well.

Did you see the poll I posted no Users ignored it Betsy Johnson and D's are leading the Rs

Johnson leads 30/24/17

OR is a wildfire state like AZ, we had a real bad Wildfire season in 2020 that's why Trump did so poorly out here and NV is too, and Rs are for Fossil Fuels and Oil Drilling and greenhouse gasses destroys the Environment, they warned Reagan when he started Fracking but Rs didn't listen

The only way this hurts D's if he runs against Kaine but we don't even know whom is running in 2025

I do wonder if Oregon had RCV if Johnson would actually have a chance by siphoning off a lot of votes form the middle and people who generally lean left but are unhappy with the current Dem government.
Ron Wyden is on the ballot so I doubt that it's gonna be much siphoning off he will pull Tina Kotek over the top

I keep telling users be patient with the results like Progressive Moderate has an R nut map, there are gonna be Provisions ballots like last time Warnock and Osdoff won by 50 K votes on provisions ballots

Another issue where the three candidates differ is on the death penalty. Drazan and Johnson have promised to lift the moratorium on Oregon's death penalty, which has been maintained for more than a decade.

This is despite the fact that Oregon voters approved a constitutional amendment explicitly authorizing the death penalty. Kotek, on her part, wants to continue the moratorium. Of course, Oregon is a state where executions haven't been that common. But it's a notable difference, nevertheless, and shows that the Democratic nominee here is clearly more progressive on these kinds of issues than her two opponents.

Of course she is. Johnson is just playing the tiresome game "if you bring together the best of 2 sides, which are equally bad otherwise, something great happens". In the end, she just may help Drazan win with a plurality.

Actually at this point the democrats here believe it’s possible that Johnson could help Kotek win if she splits the right wing vote more which is why they have tried to paint her as Republican lite .

Ron Wyden is on the ballot that's why Tina Kotek will win not so much Betsy Johnson

I have faith in 300K provisional ballots not just a poll there is no way Drazen or Johnson pills it out and they have narrow leads, it would be different if we didn't win all the close races last time the only close races is didn't win was VA and we already had 2Terms already just like I'm 2028 we should be disadvantage but Newsom or Ryan are far serperior than Harris and can win a 3T more than Harris but Ryan need to win his seat firsr

This race has been over and done with for some time now but I wanted to pop in here just to say that the Nike guy bankrolling Betsy Johnson but then flipping to Drazan at the last minute when polling showed she was competitive only to cause Johnson to hemorrhage support putting Kotek back in the lead is probably one of the funniest political own-goals in recent years and one of the only examples I can point to of a major, well-connected donor actively minimizing their interests.

Oregon was never gonna elect an R Gov it was fools gold
