40 plus was always our desired target for "being in the hunt" from 2009 until 2017.

In my head at least when the RPP was in the 20s and when the Feds fell to the low 30s, my objective was that 40+ was to be taken as a sign that "recovery had been obtained" and this was indeed the case and in both cases as well these were capped off with President wins. In the RPPs case it was a one off though, whereas with the Feds it kicked off 2 plus years of Presidential dominance.

Meanwhile now if the Feds fell to 40 you'd be lucky to retain 2 House seats Tongue

This is good work although tbh I don't really know what's going on for most of it.

What happened here?

Clearly after the dissolution of the JCP and RPP, new parties are being formed eventually leading to the rise of the Feds and Labor, who are some of the other parties that rose but eventually died/were side-lined? I assume the biggest Blue is the Liberals, but who are the others?

Navy blue is the Whig Party and the dark green is the Imperial Bloc because they ended with the merger to form the Federalists.

The maroonish color is ANUS/A New Start, a party supporting the dissolution of Atlasia.
The purplish party is the Northeast National Party, a party supporting supporting independence for the Northeast.

The short lived orange one was the "Moderate Party", containing the RPPs Moderate faction. The core of which later formed the TPP later in 2012.

Oakvale was Chair of TPP. As a sitting chair he ditched his own party to form ANUS, this is why the lime Green numbers collapse at that point. During the whole Bloody July fiasco about a week or two later, there was a mass deregistration skewing heavily towards radicals obviously.  That decimated the ranks of ANUS, TPP, and even damaged Labor. Adam's temporary ban on July 22nd led to a number of Labor types deregistering including Blair and Snowguy, which Adam most definitely did not want to happen at that time.

Why did the radicals try to get the Northeast to become independent instead of some other region like the Pacific?

The belief on our side was that it was to sabotage the convention. I think a plurality of delegates were registered there iirc.

We kind of remained stable in high 30s. CR and us were the only ones to not be hit by the deregistrations.
