Prime Minister Chamberlain proposed an anti-Fascist alliance to Daladier and Stalin, on the advice of his generals, who are more wary of Hitler's willingness to keep to his promise at Munich. Indeed, Harold Alexander, watching clips of Hitler at Munich with Chamberlain and King George VI, stated that "Hitler looked almost disappointed that there was deal reached at Munich and that he wanted to go to war".

Chamberlain is also proposing in the House of Commons a measure to introduce partial conscription into the Army, Navy and Royal Air Force, as well as to provide a budget for upgrades to the Royal Air Force, to be completed by 1942.

Chamberlain has issued a draft White Paper, proposing partition of Palestine into a Jewish State, and an Arab State, with boundaries to be settled later.

The League of Nations would retain control of Jerusalem in the proposed White Paper.

Britain will send aid workers to Chile following the catastrophic earthquake there.

Prime Minister Chamberlain also expresses his concerns on the situation in Yugoslavia, and encourages Prince Paul and Prime Minister Stojdaniovic to work out their differences with each other.
