The Denyer/Ramsay ticket seem the safest bet, but a necessary part of the job is growing support, and I'm not sure who is best placed to do that, except not Shahrar Ali.

Result out, favourites Ramsay and Denyer win.

The transphobe got stuffed despite the attempts at entryism, excellent.

Who was that? It seems both Ali and Rothery could be both accused of transphobia.

Anyway, the result is as close to continuity as you might reasonably expect.

Ali was the one openly courting TERFs.

Ali is also a massive antisemite. Several bullets dodged for the Green Party there with one stone, to mix metaphors a tad.

Had Ali been elected, the party would have died for sure.

Looking at Ali's campaign one would imagine that trans issues are the only debate going on in the country rather than a marquee issue found primarily in very online spaces.

A slight correction, although in practice the difference between the two is increasingly marginal.
