As I have provided some legal advice to the defendant in private, being on the jury would be a conflict of interest.

Plus I am struggling to find a way to swing managing the elections with inventory at work (and the increased schedules leading up to it), my first semester in 9 years starting Monday and struggling with a combination of fatigue and other health issues.

There is just no practical way for me to be able to handle being on the jury, (if I had the time for that, I would have been LT's lawyer) even if the above issue didn't exist.
