I wonder why AMLO poor response to covid including refusing to wear face masks and inital vaccine denialism get's ignored compared to that of right-wing goverments.

It isn’t focused on because most leftists do not follow internal Mexican politics that well. Those that do do critique these policies, but given the poor response in the Anglophone world regardless of leader, it’s kind of muted.

His COVID policies are still much better than Biden's. More people in the US have died of COVID under Biden than Trump. Admittedly, this isn't entirely Biden's fault, but Handsy Uncle Joseph could be doing more.
