STOP CORRUPTION IN GOVERNMENT ACT

1. Beginning in tax year 2024 a special surtax of 10% shall be assessed on the net income resulting from lobbying activities upon each person required by law to register as a lobbyist.

2. The President, Vice-President, Cabinet members, and Senators are hereby prohibited from making financial investment decisions on the basis of non-public information that was only known by them due to their duties in office. Any capital gain earned as a result of such insider trading shall be subject to forfeiture to the general treasury.

3. Unless otherwise specified herein, this act shall take effect on April 15, 2023.

Air BNB Privacy Act

1. It shall be unlawful for any person, or the officers, employees, or agents thereof, who operates in Atlasian commerce by marketing and facilitating the short-term rental of residential property to customers, to sell or share location data, customer time, date, or place data, or communications with or from a customer or a property owner to any foreign government or third party unless presented with a valid warrant.

2. A violation of this act shall be a misdemeanor punishable by disgorgement of any profits, imprisonment for no more than one (1) year, and a fine of $10,000.00 per individual person whose data was sold. Any data collected in violation of this paragraph shall be subject to forfeiture.

3. A customer whose data was unlawfully shared or sold pursuant to this act may maintain a civil action to recover actual damages, punitive damages of up to $10,000, reasonable legal costs, and any equitable relief necessary to enforce this act.

4. This act shall take effect 30 days from the date of passage.

ANTI-KKK ACT

1. It is hereby a felony punishable by no more than five (5) years imprisonment and a fine of no more than $10,000.00 to engage in terroristic intimidation. Terroristic intimidation shall be defined as:

  A. Any person who, with the intent of intimidating any person or group of persons, travels in interregional or international commerce and burns an object, including but not limited to a cross or an effigy, on the private property of another without permission;

  B. Any person who, with the intent of intimidating any person or group of persons, travels in interregional or international commerce and burns an object, including but not limited to a cross or an effigy, on a highway or other public place in a manner having a direct tendency to place another person in reasonable fear or apprehension of death or bodily injury;

  C. Any person who, with the intent of intimidating another person or group of persons, travels in interregional or international commerce and places or causes to be placed a swastika or the hammer and sickle on the private property of another without permission;

  D. Any person who, with the intent of intimidating any person or group of persons, travels in interregional or international commerce and displays a noose, pike, or guillotine on the private property of another without permission;

  E. Any person who, with the intent of intimidating any person or group of persons, travels in interregional or international commerce and displays a noose, pike, or guillotine on a highway or other public place in a manner having a direct tendency to place another person in reasonable fear or apprehension of death or bodily injury; or

  F. Any person who, with the intent of intimidating any person or group of persons,  uses a federally-regulated communucation device to call in a bomb threat at or physically disrupts, interrupts, or blockades a governmental meeting or proceeding, a meeting or event open to the public, a private meeting or event, or a religious service, or who travels in interregional or international commerce and assaults, batters, or threatens attendees thereat.

2. This act shall take effect on July 1, 2023.

COMPANY TOWNS ARE BAD ACT

1. No private company, corporation, LLC, or other business entity that is permitted to exercise municipal or governmental functions over any real property owned by such entity shall be eligible to receive federal funds reserved for local governments

2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2023.

CAGE THE BIG BAD WOLF ACT

1. Any broker licensed by Atlasia to buy, sell, and trade in stocks, securities, commodities, futures, and other financial instruments on behalf of others shall be prohibited from charging a commission fee exceeding 5% of any transaction.

2. Any carried interest shall be taxed the same as income rather than as capital gains.

3. Any gain from the sale of fractional shares in investment art shall be taxed the same as income rather than as capital gains.

4. Any gain from the sale of futures, forwards, options, swaps, and other financial derivative contracts shall be taxed the same as income rather than as capital gains.

5. The financial trading in Short Position instruments is hereby prohibited.

6. For purposes of this act carried intetest means any gained value of a share in the holdings of a pension or investment fund when such share is compensation paid to an investor, broker, or financial or fund manager in consideration of advising, managing, or making investments on behalf of such pension or investment fund.

7. This act shall take effect January 1, 2024.

ARBITRATION FAIRNESS ACT

1. Any person who sells a product or service in interregional commerce pursuant to a contract or licensing agreement requiring end-use consumers to arbitrate legal claims in a State other than the State in which the product or service was purchased, then such person shall be required to pre-fund $10,000 per claim filed with the arbitration panel within 30 days of filing. The failure to timely pay an arbitration fee shall result in a waiver of the person’s right to require arbitration.

2. No arbitration agreement authorized by the Federal Arbitration Act shall be permitted that requires only one (1) party to arbitrate claims.

3. No arbitration agreement authorized by the Federal Arbitration Act shall be permitted that imposes any added costs or fees on a consumer that would not have applied in litigation.

4. This act shall take effect ninety (90) days from the date of passage.

SENATE DRESS CODE RESOLUTION

1. There shall be no formal dress code requirement for Senators or members of the public present in the Capitol, other than the expectation that all clothing be business casual.

2. No Senate rule shall require women to cover their arms in any formal or casual setting in the Capitol.

3. This act shall take effect immediately.
