The government has no conceivable motive to kill McAfee. Meanwhile he was a 75 year old man facing extradition and 30 years in jail. Not hard to see why he’d do it, and not hard to imagine that a man like him would want to mess with people on his way out.

He murdered his neighbor; the fact that he made funny memes doesn't magically offset that to make him an FF (and this is ignoring the numerous other immoral things he did, including tax evasion, promoting cryptocurrency, and creating McAfee AV).

This case is difference than Epstein; it took place in Spain and more importantly, what would have been the benefit? Did he know any secrets about potential enemies? Probably was indeed suicide.
