Usually RINO is or was a term for moderate Rockefeller Republicans who aren't conservative enough. Trump is actually not a a true traditional conservative since they once supported small government, balanced budgets, free trade and NATO. Trump does neither, it's just a cult paired with nativism and anti-intellectualism while Trump was an useful idiot for some of McConnell and Ryan's agenda.
