Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Republic of Atlasia in Congress assembled,

Section I. Title

1. This bill may be known as the "Repeal of the Mask Mandate Act".

Section II. Content

1. F.L. 26-05, the Mask Mandate Act, is repealed in its entirety.
2. Nothing in this Act shall be interpreted as to invalidate actions taken to enforce it prior to its repeal.

Passed 8-0-0-1 in the Atlasian House assembled

Okay, this obviously repeals the Federal Mask Mandate, in light of the progress made on vaccinations and case numbers. It has always been my view that the Mask usage was the best means to reduce the spread prior to the vaccine and critical to the ability to avoid and/or minimize the spread of the disease and thus avoid and/or minimize the severity and lengths of the lock downs. Now that we have progressed to this new stage in the pandemic, it is time to remove this necessary but unfortunate Federal mandate.

Since this was passed unanimously in the House, I am going to motion to waive the rules and proceed immediately to a final vote, Senators have 24 hours to object.
