I just waded through this long article in The Atlantic Magazine (yes, I know, long articles are its trademark so mentioning that when I had already revealed the name of the Mag is mere surplusage) on the man while sipping my very strong two shots of dark roast coffee with heated frothy 2% milk. The almost invariably sartorially disheveled one seems to have the self confidence to chart a very unconventional path on most everything he does. An extroverted intellectual who can at least affect the appearance of not taking himself too seriously, while being very serious about dominating the narrative. The story is the thing for this former journalist as both the creator and the narrator.
I put it up for those who are far more familiar with the man than I to comment as and when the spirit moves them. I find him far more interesting than about 99.9% of American politicians, and want to know more from those willing to so indulge me. Thank you.
