Different year, same boring map.

People tell me there's this really cool place called "West". I'd love to visit some time.

Did you make the conscious choice to avoid New England? Tongue

As it happens, I have gone through Connecticut (train from Boston to New York) and Vermont (drive up the I-91 from Northampton up into the New Hampshire North Country ) but not stopped in either of them.

47 (all except NM, SD, AR)

I do regret never going to Arkansas while living in Mississippi, but frankly, there was never a good reason to go there other than checking a box when Louisiana, Alabama, and Tennessee were also within easy driving distance.

21 +DC by my count.

Still have never been to the West Coast or New England, and somehow have never even been to Missouri (only state bordering Kentucky that's true of).

25 been in
22 stepped foot on the ground in
19 spent a night in
7 spent at least one cumulative month in

I very well may add a couple over the next few weeks because I'm planning to go to the College World Series in Omaha, NE if Vanderbilt makes it (just need to win this weekend).

Since a couple people are apparently less or as-traveled as I am, I'll post a more honest map:

"Drove through" does imply stops though, so my feet were on the ground in all states. Tongue

Hawaii
Washington
Virginia
West Virginia
Maryland
Pennsylvania
New York
Georgia
South Carolina

These are all states I actually visited, and spent time in specifically.  I am not counting those I merely transited through.  And I am not counting Washington, D.C. as a state.

16

Passed through means drive through OK and TX and layovers in GA and NY. Might be seeing my great-aunt in MN, which would likely involve flying into SD and visiting other family across the border in IA. There’s also the possibility that I’ll be further back East, but idk.
