Over a year (Lived in): Blue
Over a month: Light Blue
Over 24 hours not driving (Visited?): Green
Yellow - Drove Through
Gray - I've probably been here, but don't have confirmation or memory
White - Flyover Country JK I'd love to visit

If you go by the places I've been since the age of five, all the states are removed except FL, GA, NC, SC, and TN.

It's many ways even to get out of Florida's tip, at least nine hours (taking into account traffic), so that drive is very rarely made.

How the hell did I forget Delaware?  Spent a one-nighter in Wilmington, too, when I was simply too lazy to drive the extra 2 hours to NYC.

Dark red is for states I've lived in
Medium red is for states I've been to more times than I can count - basically a combo of the three main family vacation sites growing up (DC, Florida, and Atlanta) along with living in some multi-state metro areas
Regular red is for pass-throughs and one- or two-time trip

Only New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, West Virginia, Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts. I planned on going to Texas and Minnesota to visit some 78 RPM record dealers this year, but we are still in the middle of a pandemic and out of state travel is not safe (probably won’t be safe until 2023).

I've been to 20, mainly just the upper midwest and the east coast.  Haven't been out West much at all.

I’ve driven through SC and WV and flown through UT and CO.  Stayed a night in TN as part of a road trip of doing stuff in other states.  All green states here involve doing something other than eating/sleeping/getting gas like visiting family, sightseeing a specific attraction, or some other recreational activity.

PA, NJ, DE, MD, and NY. I hope to expand this list this year to include MA, DC, CT, RI, and VA.
