Forget what I said, I can work with August.

Yes, endorsements come to me via pm.

I chose August as a compromise

GoTfan, could you do a targeted poll of African-American voters nationally? I want to see where Obama stands there?

The turn's only until the 14th, AshtonShabazz, so I'm not sure why you did all of August.

Probably because I'm used to other games posting full months as turns.

Two questions here:

1. What is the cutoff for new players jumping in? I'm interested, although starting now wouldn't be compatible with my schedule.

2. Are you accepting entries for both parties now that Hogan is in on the GOP side?

I'm not the OP, but speaking as a Democrat, I think you should play as an Independent, as I don't think it's realistic for Harris to have any more challengers, and I don't think Trump would get more than one challenger.

GoTfan, did you get my PM about the endorsements I asked for?

Are you going to announce them in the gameplay thread, or are you PM the approval of said endorsements to me, or both?

I'm still trying to recruit a few more players, as I think we're still a bit shorthanded (especially on the Republican side), and I think NHI agreed to join us.

Thanks to the efforts of all. I've been in and out because of some rather pressing issues at home. I've recently become involved in efforts to bring the Biloela family home, though much of my involvement is online.

I would welcome an independent candidate or two, or hell, someone running for the Libertarian nomination.

Do you have any cutoff in mind for the latest when new players can start?

Up until a reasonable point. April/May 2024 for example.

I'll take Howie Hawkins if I can play as a Green.

Welcome!

I must admit, I am a bit lost as to why DeSantis would run with Trump in the race.

GoTfan, could I get confirmation on whether Tammy Baldwin has the endorsements of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Elizabeth Warren?

You told me you were holding back on releasing high-profile endorsements, and I would think both Ocasio-Cortez and Warren qualified as such.

Obviously, GOTfan can confirm the endorsements but I think they qualify as about the same profile as EMILY's List (especially in a race with multiple pro-choice women).

Truthfully, this came out of a personal opinion that they don't hold as much national or institutional weight as someone like Sanders. Not to worry as well, there are going to be reaction to endorsements during next turn.

I'll give a 24 hour extension, as this is the first turn. in the future, let me know before it closes.
