While Tender Branson was a disgusting and hideous racist, a total creep, and just a sick person all around, I feel that he added flavor and color to the forum with his reptile posts, such as the one where he invented the term "Blaxicans" or the massive thread he maintains where he posts various crimes in Austria like it's a police blotter. I'll also never forget when Tender Branson posted some "hot Asian" and someone found out that she was 13 - one of the funniest moments of all time on the forum.

This reminds me of the Kitzbühel municipal by-election in 1973. The leading candidate (Turks Out Party) was controversially imprisoned for expressing his freedom of speech by protesting against sharia patrols, but his allies secretly recruited a stand-in candidate running on an alternative ticket (Hang The Turk Party, Liberal Faction) - when this was found out it caused a lot of trouble and the left-wing opposition (Deport Turks Party) actually won the seat in an upset. Soon the Muslims took over the city and made all the hot babes wear burqas to school.

One of the most Hilarious People to ever post. Since we're reminiscing, my favourite tender moment was this sublime austriaposting on the eve of our independence referendum.

If anything here comes close to the Scottish situation right now, it would be the 1978 Austrian referendum on the Nuclear Power Plant Zwentendorf, with polls showing voters supported the NPP by a 2:1 margin when the campaign started.

In the end (with the plant already built and about to be started), the voters rejected it by a 50.5-49.5 margin, a stunning defeat for Chancellor Kreisky (a Socialist). Kreisky, a year later, won the biggest landslide for the Socialist party with 51%, something which has never been achieved ...

For gods sakes Tender, you didn't have to create a new account just to ask what was going on. All you had to do was PM muon2 or I, or make a post and someone would have seen it in the moderation queue. It was indeed a mistake, but your first reaction seems to have been to create another account and go on to start peddling conspiracies and "censorship." Way to go. If anything, what appears to be the most likely answer here is that you've racked up enough moderated posts over the past 6~ months or so that a known bug in the code Dave added automatically caused you to be put under mod review. Because there is nothing in the logs indicating anyone hit you with 50 points, and neither muon2, Dave nor I added you to the mod review list manually.

I wonder, what if you were actually purposefully put under mod review? If you created a new account to evade that just to complain in a public thread, you'd be temp-banned right now. You are a former moderator. You should know better.

Tender's constant race/Muslimbaiting and shameless sexism had gotten to the point of self-parody. It's really hard to believe he was ever a mod here in the first place.

No one should compare his situation to Snowguy's, by the way. Open discussion of the circumstances behind Snowguy's bans are off-limits on both forums now. The only thing they had in common is that they were both long-time posters. Snowguy hadn't posted here since late 2019 after his ban was lifted.

I really don't understand why he want the sock route. It makes no sense to me unless he wanted to ban himself from the forum for whatever reason. And what also got him in trouble seemed utterly pointless to me. One can make one's points without having to go there. It isn't hard really.

Basically, there's no one else like him on the Internet and he'll never be replaced - you'll all miss his disgusting and depraved behavior.

Another "classic" Tender moment was when he posted about the first lesbian marriage in Austria and then posted a "photo of the couple" and was surprised that they were both feminine looking and thought they were both hot. And then it was revealed that photo was just a stock photo.
