Hawley is the one that is especially hilarious to me since he clearly has presidential ambitions. Cruz's pathetic 4% is also hilarious given how well known he is and how desperate he's been to become president.

Relatively speaking, for Pence to be above DeSantis here is actually really good for him. Though I wouldn't put much stock in this poll. Like with general elections I expect that Trump's support is somehow understated as always for whatever voodoo magic f***ing reason.

Relatively speaking, for Pence to be above DeSantis here is actually really good for him.

The general rule of recent '24 primary polls is that DeSantis leads as long as there is no one with the last name "Trump" listed as an option in the poll.  Trump Sr. obviously leads in any primary polls he's in, but even when it's just Trump Jr. listed (like in the last scenario in the McLaughlin poll), there's enough siphoning of support away from DeSantis to put someone else in the lead (in that case, Pence).
