I don't know, but I sure as hell would see it even if I fly to New York!

Although this was actually discussed in a Facebook group...we concluded that an emo musical is probably something that just wouldn't work because emo songs (generally) lack things like choruses and hooks and they're usually not upbeat...they just don't work in a Broadway context. There's a few exceptions (like in my list I mentioned Piebald's "American Hearts" and Transit's "Skipping Stone" as examples), but it's just not a genre that plays well with Broadway.

I could see Hamilton being watchable with songs by Thursday, but I'm not really sure if they're considered emo or not.
