December 14-15, 2020
600 voters
MoE: 4%

Whitmer 46%
Miller 42%
Other/unsure/do not know 13%

This one, I think, is the last to have slipped under the radar here.

Interesting. 4 points I think is about where she needs to be to win on election night. This could be the most closely watched race in the country on election night and definitely one of the closest races.

Keep in mind that Miller has very clearly said that she will not run. Not just "I'm not running (currently)" or "I don't plan on it at the moment," she said "I will not be a candidate for governor in 2022." Not to say that no politician has ever gone back on their word, but that's about as precisely definitive as you can get.

She was widely considered to be the best GOP recruit, but Craig is a perfectly viable candidate: probably the best of all plausible options, actually. James would be perfectly viable as well, although I think Craig is a stronger bet for the GOP at this point and he would probably have a good chance at beating James in a primary (despite James' superior name recognition) because of his law enforcement cred, and perhaps also because the GOP is probably a bit weary of James after his back-to-back losses.
