RIP Bo. Saying goodbye to a pet is perhaps one of the hardest things someone can do.

The only fault with dogs: life-spans much shorter than ours. Dogs really are magnificent creatures, our peers in the food chain yet well-behaved. How can such perfectly-designed creatures have such short lifespans? Want an animal that can last half your life? Get a bird. One-sixth? Get a dog.

Loss of my beloved dog, who got me through many personal tragedies inv olving grief, broke me down badly.
