I don’t think he said it or the house would have the power to legislate to force our government to do this hence why it’s a resolution.

Not sure what this means by "he said it". The house and Senate together could force this matter, but the means at their disposal would be rather aggressive and damaging long term.

speech to text has failed me- he said was meant to be the senate!

Well as I said, their are means to force the situation but of course these are likely damaging and problematic in other regards.

Of course you could also just like you know PM The President at some point. Wink
