Bar owner arrested for selling fake vaccine cards

Really low-level crime like this should not be overpolicing.

I am against people who bully COVID anti-vaxxers, but this guy committed a felony. People who bought the cards shouldn't be prosecuted, but the seller should. The most hilarious part is that he was committing a felony for $20 a pop. Not a very bright individual...

Do enough $20 crimes and one is a major criminal. That's how it goes with drug trafficking.

If I were a judge I would assess a stiff fine to be rebated to the buyer, to be rebated upon getting the appropriate vaccinations. The offender would still pay the escrow costs, but would get much of the fine back.
