What would your opinion on a Thom Tillis/Nancy Mace 2024 ticket be?

I really don't see it happening. What does Tillis bring to the table that another Republican couldn't do better?

Hint: It's a joke. See if you can get the answer.

Both of them beat a Cunningham from Carolina.

I don't get the joke.

And if this was serious I don't see what he offers. And even though Nancy Mace is truly a Trumpist on the inside, she talks too rationally to deliver red meat for the base. She had me fooled for awhile that she could be a truly rational Republican. She's basically Susan Collins 2.0. In that sense, she doesn't really have the courage anti-Trump Independents, former Republicans, and/or moderates would want to see from her in representing a departure from the GOP's far-right, reactionary, inconsistent turn.

EDIT: I feel like an idiot. I just got the connection, as said above (I didn't see it before I posted). Well played.

Uniquely, in both this ticket and the corresponding ticket of the candidates they most recently beat, the running mate was a far stronger candidate.

Odd ticket. I don’t see how mace helps tillis, and how tillis ends up on the Republican ticket. Harris/Biden would win over this barring a major scandal.

Yes, I do get the joke

Interesting thought. Most certainly won't happen.
